Community Trainings
Leslie Brown, MSW is our Clinical Services Coordinator. Leslie organizes and leads workshops on infant-toddler mental health, trauma, and child-parent psychotherapy for community providers. Leslie is endorsed by the NCSTN (National Child Traumatic Stress Network) as a trainer for both clinical and nonclinical practitioners to learn assessment and treatment strategies for traumatized infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their families.
Child-Parent Psychotherapy Learning Collaborative
NASW credit for 42 CEU
This year-long training program is geared toward mental health therapists who want to incorporate Child-Parent Psychotherapy as a treatment modality to use in their practice with children ages zero to six.
They will develop a plan for how to sustain this modality into their practice and participants will:
• Understand this relationship-based treatment model in terms of the twelve domains of intervention.
• Apply CPP foundational knowledge and learn how to effectively integrate the CPP model into practice.
• Build a community of practice and interact with others in the field to create a supportive resource network.
